Halley’s Comet to Spark Meteor Shower Tonight

Written by Staff

The Eta Aquarids, an annual early May meteor shower, reaches its climax late tonight and into the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday morning.

The meteor shower will be at its peak just two nights before the final supermoon of this year, according to Accuweather. The bright moon may make it difficult to see some of the fainter meteors, but it should produce a moderate shower for the Northern Hemisphere.
