State Suspends Liquor Licenses of 3 Houston Clubs

Three Houston nightclubs are on the rocks after the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission suspended their licenses for violating state social distancing and other requirements. The Houston Chronicle is reporting that TABC inspectors at clubs Clé, Spire and Grooves found violations for capacity limits, social distancing and facial covering requirements. Repeat-offender Spire, which hosted Ohio rapper Bow Wow and other artists this weekend, has been suspended for 90 days, while Clé is now at 60 days and Grooves has been suspended for 30 days.
